Jasmine, Lactonic Fruits

Very elegant creamy lactone reminiscent of natural jasmine with peach and coconut undertones.

Occurs naturally in jasmine and champaca. More floral and less fruity-lactonic than the JASMOLACTONE DELTA for instance.

It is particularly valuable in white flowers accords, especially in jasmine notes.

Chemical synthesis corresponds to the construction of complex chemical compounds from simpler ones.

The HEDIONE® family began with dsm-firmenich's discovery of the molecule HEDIONE® in 1958, as part of the methyl jasmonate synthesis. Further ingredients continue to be developed to meet additional specific technical needs, such as a heightened stability or strength.

This ingredient is both convenient for perfumery and flavor applications.
